Scovill Waterbury Lens in B size for 5x8 inch coverage and a focal length of 10 inches and f/15 in speed. Includes original flange. Lens is in nice clean condition with very good glass and ready to use after a light dusting..... Lens barrel has obtained a vintage copper-y hue to the finish... Very appealing for the collector and certainly very usable to shoot with. Lens circa 1892.
While I would never do it - some people are removing the stop wheel and then drilling a larger aperture for an instant Soft Focus lens at a reasonable price !

Scientific Lens Company's Wide Angle Symmetrical Lens No. 5 size and an approximate focal length of 6 1/4 inches. This lens was made by or for U Nehring and the Scienticic Lens Co. he formed about 1904. I believe this covers 6.5"x8.5" inches (whole plate)...Easily covers 8x10 stopped down....The lens is in nice, clean condition for use or collecting.
